2023 Take Over

A collaborative film project, adapted from the story 'Take Over' by members of the B.O.Y.N.E. Project with Fighting Words Ireland, facilitated by Hugh McElveen and Vivienne Byrne.

The film tells the story of a young man whose family is impacted by addiction. The film premiered at the Droichead Arts Centre and was also featured at Drogheda Implementation Board’s ‘Place Based Leaders Conference’ at the Barbican Centre where the participants spoke about their experiences alongside Dr. Katriona O’Sullivan.

The project was made possible with the support of Creative Ireland, Fighting Words, Youthwork Ireland Louth, Louth Library Services and the Garda Special Projects.
