2022 The Morning Side of the Mountain

Peadar and Kathleen Elmore share their musings that fuse their personal memories with the social history of the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth where they’ve lived all their lives. Taken from recorded interviews by Declan Mallon, Upstate Theatre Project, with the support of the family The Morning Side of the Mountain is a beautiful rendering of the oral tradition blended with the artistic visual interpretations by artist Vivienne Byrne and the sonic eloquence of the music of composer Breifne Holohan.
