2007 Landscape in the Quay of Chance
One of my earliest explorations into video, sound and installation. The sound was composed in accordance with the points where the google map-lines intersected music notation, played and recorded by the artist on an old piano, the music was developed into a wider score by pianist John Murphy. The work was a conversation between the sound and the visual and both informed each other. Exhibited as part of ‘One in Ten’ group exhibition at Broadstone Studios, Dublin.
